Mr. Jayantilal Kothari founded Ganko Opticians in 1941. His sons are now leading Ganko into the new millennium. Mr. Dilip Kothari looks after the manufacturing and wholesale activities, Mr. Madhu and Mr. Kirit Kothari look after the retail outlets at Nariman Point and Kalbadevi in Bombay, respectively. Mr. Anil Kothari handles the retail outlet in Calcutta under the banner of President Optical Company.
